We are a K-12 tutoring and college prep center

Our Mission: Provide affordable top quality educational services that improve academic confidence of K-12 students and empower more students from the region to go to college.

How do we plan on making it possible?

• Our tutors trained and talented, but above all they are energetic and enthusiastic about relating with the students.
• Our current staff of nearly 20 is mostly recent graduates or current students at UC Merced. Our instructors are current UC students, UC graduates, and students pursuing Masters and PhD degrees.
• We primarily emphasize on working in “Concept Building,” which in turn helps with the student’s academic confidence.
• We tie long term goals (concepts) and short term goals (Home-work) together during our sessions.
• Our expertise is in Math, Writing, Reading, Science, Social Studies, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and the SATs ….. that is pretty much all K-12 subjects except second languages.
• Our goal is to provide high quality and affordable learning services.
• We envision enriching the Merced community through education and working hand in hand with other educators to ensure our students excel.

Subjects Taught

K-12 tutoring (we teach students 4.5 years old to high school students).

• All Math (K-8, Algebra I and II, Trig and Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Stats including AP classes)
• Phonics
• Reading Comprehension
• Writing
• All Sciences – Physics, Chem and Bio (including AP)
• College Prep – SAT, SAT subject tests and ACT
• CAHSEE - SATs and ACTs

(We teach according to the California State Standards, this is the same curriculum public and private schools must use in California.)

I have always found that education is the key factor in becoming a successful individual and I want to help motivate students achieve their goals in life. One of my goals is to provide quality educational programs in the region because I feel that every student wants to be academically successful so they are able to be effective problem solvers in our growing world. Our world is getting more competitive and we want students to develop all the life skills that keeps them prepared and ready to tackle any challenge. Education is for everyone and there is no limit to how far you can go!
Another goal is to provide an environment where customers and employees have a highly satisfying and empowering experience to achieve their personal goals.
I believe this will be an asset to the community at large and as Merced continues to grow. I hope Bali Learning Center can be part of its success.
